Big Write

At school, every Friday we do a big write. This is an opportunity for children to write at length and apply their learning. It would be brilliant if we could keep this going and dedicate some of our home learning time to a big write.

Generally the structure would be that we spend at least 10 minutes discussing and planning what we are going to write (this may take longer depending on we are doing that week). We would then set a timer for 1 hour, play some mindful music and allow the children to write uninterrupted.
