At Churchill, we believe that the teaching of Religious Education prepares pupils to view themselves not only as individuals but as part of local and global communities; develop an appreciation of others; celebrate diversity and recognise the similarities between people which unites as a human race.

Through the Kent Agreed Syllabus, incorporating understanding Christianity, we encourage to develop pupils’ understanding of the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural diversity through discussion, by questioning and by challenging their own opinions and those of others, in order to become independent, critical thinkers.
