In our Talk4Writing lessons we have been learning the Traditional Tale Little Red Riding Hood. You can use the document below to remind yourself of the story before having a go at retelling it.
Don't forget you must write the story out using full sentences punctuated with a capital letter and full stop. Your story must also have a clear beginning, middle and end. Remember to include the lesson that Little Red Riding Hood learns in this warning tale.
To challenge yourself, why not take a look at the 'Boxed Up' sheet and begin to make some changes to this familiar tale. Instead of a big, bad wolf with fierce eyes, sharp fangs and terrible claws, you might like to swap it to a big, bad bear with shaggy brown fur, razor-sharp claws and sharp, pointed teeth.
This term we have been looking at the creation story.
