Home Learning
Maths, Writing and Reading activities will be added in the folders below each week for you to access, as well as learning to do covering the wider curriculum such as history, PSHE, science, RE and art. A list of websites which you might find useful can be found on the home learning page.
This is an unusual time and I think it would be lovely for us all to keep a daily journal of what we get up to each day. This ties in with our history lesson recently on time capsules!
As well as all the additional learning materials we will be adding over the coming weeks, we will be monitoring Lexia and Doodlemaths very closely to make sure that all children are doing their daily activities on these platforms. We are able to assign any extra content to children on Doodlemaths to cover areas of maths that we would be doing in class which will support their progress in specific areas. We recommend a minimum of 15 minutes per day on each of these platforms (your child will know whether or not they have a Lexia account.)
We hope you enjoy learning from home and we are looking forward to seeing you back in school soon!
The Easter Holidays
Over the Easter break, we would like you to have fun, be creative and enjoy spending time with your family.
If you can, try to keep up with your daily reading and daily stars on Doodlemaths.
Take care and we will speak to you soon,
Mrs Kelly, Miss Francis and Mrs Oldfield.
