For the final week of this half term, we are going to be focussing on our reading skill of inferring. You are training to become a reading detective, by looking for clues, making connections and drawing conclusions as you read.
Good observational skills are important in lots of different subjects, like Maths, English, and Science, not just when reading. 'Inference' is being able to work out and understand information without it being directly said. Can you tell how a character at a certain point, based on what has happened? Can you suggest why something has happened and what might happen next as a result of it?
This folder contains some additional inference activities to practise your detective shills.
