Term 5 has been full of fantastic work!
As the weather has improved, we have taken our learning outside!
We had a week focusing on materials and their properties for our latest Science topic. Take a look at some of our exciting investigations below:
Chartwell
Last week we welcomed Grace from the National Trust, who led a drama workshop with us focusing on the qualities of a good leader. We read Churchill's speeches and practised using repetition, exaggeration and rhetorical questions.
This week we walked the two-mile trail from Westerham to Chartwell. We had a fantastic day exploring the grounds (including the bomb crater!) and finished the afternoon with a tour of Churchill's home and painting studio. We were amazed by the many gifts he had received and his wonderful paintings!
Maths
It's all about fractions this term, as we focus on those tiny parts that make up a whole! We will take our fractions learning and link it to decimals and percentages. Take a look below for some top tips to get you going!
