Work through the Speech marks Information PowerPoint above and complete the practise tasks throughout by correctly adding the punctuation. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil to write out your sentences.

Watch the retelling of 'The Journey Home' from Monday’s lesson.

Write what the animals might say in the speech bubbles. Then on some lined paper burst the bubbles and have a go at writing the dialogue including speech marks. Don't forget to use your capital letters, exclamation marks, full stops and question marks too.
