Hola Mexico!

The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about Mexico. During this topic, we research the festivals, cultures, the geographical location of Mexico. 

We have learned all about the Day of the Dead festival, where the children created their own masks. Using different sources, the children researched information in regards about the festival. We also learned about the habitat of Mexico and compared and contrasted this with Westerham - children really enjoyed this! 

Sycamore learned all about the Mayan culture, which they found incredibly fascinating. We researched all about their beliefs, food, habitat and sports. The children were surprised with the similarities they found within their own culture and the Mayan.
