Homework

Homework is a controversial topic for any primary school; it is one which can evoke strong feelings from parents with some stipulating that their children should not be working outside the school day and others feeling that their children should be provided with more than is currently set. 

As a school we try to strike a balance, providing the opportunity for children to practise key skills at home, whilst ensuring that homework is not overly burdensome and still allows time for extra-curricular activities and plenty of play.

Homework is also age appropriate, with that which is set at the lower end of the school looking distinctly different to that which is set at the top.
