Gender Neutrality

Inclusivity is at the heart of all we do at Churchill and we feel it is important that pupils are able to feel comfortable in what they are being asked to wear as uniform. For a small number of children, a gender neutral uniform will fulfil this and we are keen to ensure that this is possible whilst still maintaining a smart and uniform appearance for our school.

Whilst uniforms are listed on pages for Girls' Uniform and Boys' Uniform for ease of navigation, pupils of any gender may wear either of the sets of uniform. 

Please note, girls may opt to wear charcoal grey school trousers which are marketed by manufacturers for boys. If girls choose to wear trousers marketed by manufacturers as girls' school uniform, they must be charcoal grey and be a smart straight tailored trouser with a front crease, such as that shown below.

Our P.E. kit is shorts and a sports' polo for all children.
