Cedar class have continued to work hard and have made great progress since January.
We really appreciate all the support we have been receiving with their learning at home. Please continue to encourage children to practice their time tables and read as often as possible. Please remember to record this in their reading record books. If children are unable to access mymaths please let me know and a paper copy will be provided.
Just a reminder P.E. is on a Tuesday and Friday (subject to change). Homework is handed out on a Thursday and is expected to be completed by Tuesday.
In Maths, we have been learning about multiplication and division and will soon be moving on to fractions. In English, Cedar have worked extremely hard and have finished a save the rain forest poster inspired by our book The Tin Forest.. The next book is called Flotsam.
In Science, we are learning about rocks. This ranges from learning about the types of rocks and how rocks and fossils are formed. The children are continuing their work on Romans and have designed their own mosaic. The next geography topic is mapping.
